If you ask me to spend 70 Grants on an X5, my answer is going to be No! I have a good reason for it. For example, 5 years ago you could buy yourself a Volvo XC90 which is a comfortable SUV and you could compare it to BMW X7, so why X5 should be so expensive, but I have few good reasons for it.
First, let's start with engine opinions. The base engine is a 3.0 litres turbo inline V6 engine which looks like it is not that powerful, but it has 35 horsepower more than the old model! The base V6 model goes 0 to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds which is not bad at all, and for the M Competition model which is the best x5, you could have right now goes 0 to 100 in around 3.5 seconds which is a new record for big SUVs industry.

Now let's climb inside the X5 because there are few interesting things there. First is the gear shifter in the new X5 which is kind of glass shaped and I think it is cool.
Another cool feature of the new X5 is seat control which is normal seat controls until you get to a bottom marked SEAT-2! So this bottom is for controlling the passenger seat by the driver, which is so weird. Yes, I have been seen the passenger's window controlled by the driver, but not the seat!

Now let's talk about the price of the X5. The base 40i model is standard with AWD if you are in Canada, but in the USA you could have it with FWD. The base engine which is a 3.0 litres V6 is on all the 40i models available and its price tag is 70 Canadian Grants, but upgrading to V8 4.4 litres is going to cost you an extra 20 Grant, but don't forget that the V8 comes standard with M-Sport pkg. Also, a hybrid model is coming in the market late in 2021 and it gives you a similar horsepower to the V6 model with a similar price tag to V6. All the x5 were coming standard with an 8 speed automatic gearbox.
